The Rooms At Ruckman Haus

We had five rooms and suites here at Ruckman Haus. Each had its own distinctive character, and we invited our guests to choose the one that best suited their style and needs.

Ruckman Haus

On our website, of course, we wanted to provided prospective guests with a thumbnail description of each of the rooms so that that they could pick the ones that best suited their needs.

We know that our guests, when they made their reservations, had a difficult choice, as all five of the rooms were comfortable, wonderfully decorated, and came with a gourmet breakfast and access to all the public spaces of the house.

We knew that our guests would look first to make sure that the room amenities provided by the place they might choose to stay would suit them. Hotel guests usually find that one room is very much like another (although the more they paid, the larger the room might be and the more "substantial" the furnishings and bedding they could expect). We intended to go way beyond what even a luxury hotel could offer; where else, after all, could you find a normal hotel room with a private rooftop deck? But as far as the basics were concerned, Ruckman Haus had them all.

We provided either queen- or king-size beds with luxurious, high-thread-count linens, a private bath with a full selection of signature toiletries, plush cotton robes, individual, remote-controlled A/C & heating units, an in-room refrigerator stocked with beverages and even a Flavia refreshment machine that made coffee, tea and hot chocolate by the cup. Of course, there was also a flat-screen TV but we added a DVD Player and a movie library as well as wireless Internet access throughout the house.
