The Luxembourg Room

European efficiency meets Texas charm

The Luxembourg Room

As one might suspect from its namesake country, the Luxembourg Room was our smallest guest room, but it was just as elegantly appointed as any other. But also, just like its namesake country, it is a model of efficiency even given its relatively small space. It was an ideal choice for the business traveler who needed a comfortable bed, all the modern conveniences and a place to relax at the end of the business day. Logically, it was also our least expensive room, which may have been one reason why it was very popular!

The Luxembourg Room has a beautiful, queen-sized sleigh bed which, according to numerous guests, is one of the most restful in the house. The Luxembourg Room also has a built-in armoire and vanity and a separate bath with a roomy shower accented with glass blocks. This is one of the three guest rooms that will remain as it is, and serve as a guest room for family and friends.

Views of the Luxembourg Room: The New Deck, the Bedroom and the Armoire

While the sleigh bed in the the Luxembourg Room is certainly relaxing, we have recently created a wonderful new addition to the room that offers an entirely different relaxation experience- a second-story covered deck.

The New Luxembourg Room Deck

This deck, along with the new French doors that open out onto it from the bedroom, provides a great place to unwind, read or have a glass of wine. With the weather in San Antonio being as moderate as it is, the deck is usable the year 'round; there are overhead fans for the warmer months and additional lighting for evening.
