Vacations and Trips

During our first years as a B&B, we had very little time to get away for extended vacations. Building our reputation by taking care of our guests was our priority. More recently, we have been able to take advantage of the occasional slow period (and the availability of inn-sitters) to take longer vacations. We have explored Texas, spent time elsewhere in the United States, and traveled abroad. On many of these trips, we have been accompanies by our family and friends.

We have put the photographs from these trips in this section of our photo gallery. Most of the trips will have simple galleries of photos, but for the trips where we have been accompanied by Fred Nabors and Ron Dougherty, we have piggybacked on Ron's extensive narration and documentation, and borrowed pages he has created for his own personal photo album. He and Fred accompanied us for the first time on our trip to the British Isles in September, 2013; if you don't look at any other trip, you should definitely look at that one.
