One of the neat things about doing the kind of work I do is the opportunity to travel. For eight years, now, I have been traveling for business all over the United States, and outside the country as well. I am glad I don't travel internationally as a routine, because the flights are so long. But it can be a real treat if done occasionally. For the week beginning July 7, Chris had planned a public class to be taught in Rio De Janeiro, and assigned me to teach it.

I could have put the entire two week trip on a single web page, but the page would have become unwieldy, and perhaps also too large to load quickly. So I have broken this trip down into a group of separate pages for the major components of the trip. The first week was spent sightseeing and the class was the second week. In case you would like to look at a particular portion of the trip, there are links above for them. Or you can just choose the first link and go sequentially from there.
