This summer and fall Fred and I will be taking some short, 4- and 5-day trips. Since I have known Fred, we have taken a few of these as he has reintroduced me to hiking and camping.

June 22-23 The Trip to Mesa Verde, Colorado June 24 Mesa Verde and Capitol Reef National Parks June 25 Zion National Park June 26 Zion and Petrified Forest National Parks

Fred prefers to take his vacation days in multiple groups throughout the year, and so far we've been able to combine them with weekends for these trips. At some point, Dallas being a day's drive from most of what we want to do in the west, we may have to take longer blocks, but for now we are getting used to each other on these trips. This trip will stop in Mesa Verde, Lake Powell, Capitol Reef, Zion and Petrified Forest.
