On Saturday, we basically just spent the day around the condo with Steve and Mario. We all slept in for while in the morning and then, when we were all up, had some light breakfast around the condo.

A Walk to the Beach

Then, we went out for a walk over to the beach along Las Olas. This is a route we've taken a zillion times before, and you can see the route easily on the aerial view below:

Along our walk and at the beach we took just a few candid shots, and I've put clickable thumbnail images for them below. Click on as many of the images as you wish to look at the pictures we took:

I took one movie of us walking along the beach at Fort Lauderdale looking for shells.

And on the way back to the condo, when we passed the iguanas that were resting on the seawall at the end of one of the finger isle canals, Fred made a movie of them.

Dinner With Ron and Jay

Ron and Jay were nice enough to invite the four of us out to their house for dinner this evening, and we arrived there about seven. Ron and Jay have met Mario and Steve before- both in Fort Lauderdale and here in Dallas. Jay did a wonderful Italian meal. We took a couple of pictures of the group sitting at the dining room table eating dinner; Fred took one and I took one. We had a really great evening, and our thanks to Ron and Jay.
