As we have done for a couple of years now, a group of us met at Ron Mathis's house to celebrate the Fourth of July.

There were only six of us this year- Fred (who took the picture at left) and then, clockwise from lower left, Chris Young, Lou, Jay, myself and Ron.

Ron and Jay did their usual great job cooking; Ron did a variety of smoked meats in his new smoker while we sat around yakking on the patio.
