Today, Jeffie has asked Fred and I to bring her grandmother up to the stables in Plano where she keeps here horse, Logan. Of course, you'd expect stables in Dallas to be out in the burbs (although there is one over by White Rock Lake). Jeffie's is up in the direction where our friends Ron and Chris live, and getting there takes about 45 minutes.

To get to Hidden Creek, stables, its a 15-mile trip up US 75/Central Expressway to Spring Creek Parkway, then east and north.

The stables are actually located just off Jupiter Road, a major street that runs all the way through Plano and Richardson and right down into Dallas and Garland.

As you can see, the entrance is right off Jupiter, and you can see the main barn in the aerial view (and will see it in some of the pictures as well).

We stopped by my Mom's condo to pick her up and we were up at the stables by 11AM where Jeffie met us.

Jeffie, of course, has been "into" horses, just like her mother, all her life, and she acquired Logan some years ago, moving him here to Dallas when she herself moved out here a couple of years earlier. I suspect that wherever she goes, Logan will go with her.

Today, we hung out with Jeffie at the stables; she had already done her riding for the morning. And Fred took quite a few candid photos of us and the horse. I have put these pictures in a slideshow. After we hung out with Jeffie for a while, she headed on to her apartment while we took Mom for lunch.
