Introduction

For July 4th, 1996, a group of us decided to go to Las Vegas, Nevada. I coordinated with Tony at the travel agency, and he found us some relatively cheap flights and a hotel in Las Vegas. The group consisted of Lowery and Ron, Fred and I, and Ron and Chris. Mike Racke was coming back to Dallas from a business trip to Los Angeles, so he was just going to meet us there. Since the 4th was on a Thursday, and most of us had Friday off as well, we decided to leave Thursday morning.
