Introduction

For our summer trip this year, Fred and I have planned a trip to Eastern New Mexico. We will be taking our camping gear and hope to find spots at some of the state parks and other places that we will stop at.

Fred, who as usual gets high marks for planning, has been researching stops we might make in the area, and he has a hiking guide for New Mexio. We will leave Friday evening after work and drive as far as we can get that night. Then we will spend the first five days of June hiking around, returning to Dallas on the 5th of June. Since one of the weekdays will be Memorial Day, he will only need to take two days of vacation.
