Return to the Index for 1994 |
Introduction
For a couple of months, we've been talking about a major trip out west to see some of the "crown jewels" of the National Park System. In the two years since I've known Fred, I have gotten to very much like the trips we've taken- especially these camping and hiking trips. This time, driving out there and back would chew up more time than we have, so our plan is to fly to Phoenix, rent a car and then see as much as we can. We hope to work in Sidona, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks National Park and Las Vegas- plus whatever else looks interesting.
I borrowed a large tent bag from one of my officemates, Todd Patterson (the rock climber), and we were going to check everything we needed for camping on the airplane. The only thing we wouldn't be able to do is cook, as we couldn't take the camp stove and all the equipment we would need for that. But we didn't think that sandwiches would be so bad for four days, especially since we thought we'd be eating out a couple of times anyway.
Using the Master Index
We took quite a few pictures while on our trip out West, and I thought that putting them all on a single page would result in a page that would be way too large- and possibly take a long time to load. So I have organized the album pages for this trip so that there is a separate page for each day of the trip. Using the index below, you can jump directly to a specific day if you wish.
When you are done looking at the pictures for this trip, you'll need to use one of the links at the top or bottom of any page to return to this Master Index. There, you will find a link taking you back to the very top of this page where the links to the next album page for 1994 (or the previous page or index, of course) can be found.
We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures. To access the master index, please click
